Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Mac also known as Epitomeoffailure and I’m an artist
Where did your name come from?
i had been doing music for a couple months under a different profile name and when i was just hitting a really low point in my life i kept saying to myself “i am the epitome of failure” and i thought it sounded cool so i made it my artist name
Who or what inspired you to start?
my friend and roommate at the time Seth also know as paperthinwalls and listening to 9tails/Sewerperson
What’s your favorite moment so far in your career?
i have a few but if i had to narrow it down i’d pick two specific moments. When i got to co-headline a show twice and when Guardin heard one of my songs on a live stream and he liked, reposted, and commented on my track

What is something that inspires your art that might surprise your fans?
nature inspires me a lot, just admiring the beauty of everything in the world can be very impactful when you learn to appreciate it deeply
What have you found to be the best way out of a creative rut?
that’s really hard for me to say cause i feel like I’ve been in one since like 2022 😭
Who would be your ultimate super group? (Any genre)
if Sewerperson could use shadow clone jutsu and make like 6 copies of himself that would be amazing
How do you approach converting haters into fans?
You just gotta let people that hate, hate and don’t feed into it, they’ll realize and see the vision eventually, they’re just hating because they don’t understand your art initially

What’s your favorite accessory or piece of clothing in your closet?
any Sewerperson merch I have and i got a couple necklaces that are cool too i guess
Message to the youth, or those getting started in your craft?
Don’t take making music too seriously at first. Just have fun with it and figure out your sound and the direction you want to take your art.
